We are collecting gently used coats now and through October for Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services to give to newly arrived refugees. We especially need smaller adult sizes and coats for children. We also accept hats, mittens, and scarves in all sizes. Bring them to the collection bin in the hall.

The September LHCC Visitor will be coming out a bit late this month, but here are a few important dates you might want to know about as the new season arrives:

Kickoff Sunday will be September 12. We will have a potluck following worship that day, so please sign up to bring food on the bulletin board by the kitchenette, or email to howard@lakeharriet.cc.

Circle of Prayer and Open Sanctuary will resume the regular weekly schedule starting Wednesday, September 15. That means the 15th will be card writing day.

Following the Board Meeting at approximately 11:30 a.m., there will be a special meeting of the Congregation to receive and respond to the report of the Search & Call Committee. All members are encouraged to be present for the very important meeting.
